ServSafe Alcohol
This session covers how alcohol affects your body, the law and your responsibility, techniques for responsible beverage alcohol service, and how to handle difficult situations. Bartenders (both beginners and experienced), servers, waiters/waitresses, and dining room supervisors should attend this training session. Attendees will be certified through the National Restaurant Association by taking a test at the end of the seminar.

ServSafe Food Training
The Arkansas Hospitality Association has been awarded a grant from the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services to train foodservice management employees in ServSafe Food Safety. The grant will make ServSafe Food Safety training available in more areas of the state and at a greatly reduced price. The grant is effective January 15, 2012 through June 2013.
Food safety training is a non-negotiable activity for all members of the restaurant and foodservice industry. It is a highly dangerous gamble to cut corners by reducing or eliminating training. To decrease the risk of food borne illness outbreaks, take advantage of the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe program which provides value beyond certification and is the industry’s best day-to-day food safety resource.

NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE
The Online ServSafe Managers Course is valid for 1 year after purchasing. All purchases of the ServSafe Manager Online Course are final. Prior to purchasing, please review the technical system requirements to ensure this program will work with your computer configuration. Once you begin the course, you will have 90 days to complete it, at which time the course will be deactivated.
