ATHEF is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on training the next generation of leaders in the hospitality industry and on educating students about future career opportunities within the hospitality industry.
Funding for scholarships comes from special gifts to the ATHEF and generous contributions from industry members and families through the silent auction at the annual Arkansas Governor’s Conference on Tourism. Scholarships totaling $722,520 have been awarded since 2019.
